Talkin’ Takes With the County Engineers Association of Ohio

Last week, Sophia R. Holley presented to the County Engineers Association of Ohio at their 2026 Land Records & Surveying Conference.
Sophia was invited by Bob Durbin (Deputy Engineer, Mahoning County Engineer’s Office) after the two successfully negotiated a land acquisition that provided a nuanced “bundle of sticks” solution (e.g., changing a fee take to an easement) to the government while preserving zoning entitlements and future development opportunities for one of Holley Law‘s national QSR clients.
Some of the best results come from creative collaboration, and it was wonderful to strengthen the firm’s professional relationship with the talented engineers around the state.
